Taking control of your head space.

My logo is too small (compared to the file I uploaded).

If the image you uploaded was larger than 884 pixel wide by 200 px high, then it was scaled down to fit within those constraints. Editing or even removing those constraints is possible, have a look here: My logo is too small. How can I make it bigger?.

My logo is too big.

Resize your logo in fill in name of your favorite graphic editing software } and re-upload it.

There is too much space / not enough space above and below my logo.

If you use the Wide View, follow these instructions:

Go to Themes > Template Editor > Assets > style.css.liquid. Scroll down to line no 1257, and edit the value in bold in the code shown below:

.wide #logo {
  float:none;
  display:block;
  margin:36px auto;
}

36px is the amount of space above and below your logo.

If your logo is on the left of your menu, follow these instructions:

Go to Themes > Template Editor > Assets > style.css.liquid. Scroll down to line no 1176, and edit the value in bold in the code shown below:

#logo {
  float:left;
  margin:20px 0;
  line-height:1px;
}

20px is the amount of space above and below your logo.

    Hi,
    I have been following some of the instructions in the tutorials section – most work quite well thank you to everyone who provides the information.

    I would like to use my corporate logo & the text name for my shop. Right now it’s set up to use one or the other . Plus I would like my header background to be red – but cannot find where to change the header background color.

    Help Please!

    Hi
    I would like to remove the page title ‘Products’ – I was told to put h1.page-title{text-indent: -3000em;height: 0px
    at the bottom of liquid.theme but this hasn’t worked.

    Thanks

    @Jane

    I was trying to solve the same problem! After much trial and error, I figured it out.

    Under the Theme Editor>Assets>style.css.liquid, Find this code on the stylesheet:

    .sub-nav-item-link {
    display:block;
    width:200px;
    padding:20px 0px;
    margin:0px 15px;
    color:{{ settings.navigation_dropdown_link_color }};
    text-align:center;
    border-top:1px solid #4bbc96;
    }

    .sub-nav-item-link:hover {
    color:{{ settings.navigation_dropdown_link_hover_color }};
    border-top:1px solid {{ settings.navigation_dropdown_background_hover }};
    }

    .sub-nav-item-link.first {
    border-top:none;
    padding:30px 0 20px;
    }

    .sub-nav-item-link.last {
    padding:20px 0 30px;

    The text with “padding:” is what needs to be changed in order to edit the height of the big grey boxes.

    Under .sub-nav-item-link {
    the padding here changes all of the boxes.
    Under .sub-nav-item-link.first { and .sub-nav-item-link.last {
    the padding here changes the top and bottom boxes on your drop down menu.

    They were originally 20px and 30px. I changed them to 2px and 3px (and left the "0"s as is) to get smaller boxes with the links closer together.. It’s much cleaner and I can fit more links in without my customers having to scroll down.. Hope this helps! You can visit my site to see the result.

    I’ve removed the lines from below the header but I’d also like to remove the lines next to the cart total, vertical lines in between the page links, and the line in the footer? (I would like to remove all lines on the page.)

    Thanks for your help!
